I Rolled Over Lease On 'Mazda CX-30' 2.5 S Premium For Another, Exactly The Same -- Payments $150/Month LESS!

Click to ENLARGE. Yep, same car, same model -- just a 2025 vs 2022. The MAGIC here was the ultra-low milage. Just 4,428 miles in 2.5 years (and 400 of those were in the last three months). I walked MORE MILES than that in those 2.5 years! Yes, it is true I don't drive daily, or even few times a week -- unless I am on one of my nearly monthly TRIPS. Those tend to be 3-4 days, at a stretch, & I will typically do at least 600 miles a trip. 800 mile trips are my usual. So, yes, the Mazda is NOT my main car. It is actually "Rowen's" car -- Rowen is our 115+ lbs Newfie. The Mazda is permanently set up for Rowen, back seats down, a grill up & 2 layers of covers in the back. I use it once a week to go to the dump (with Rowen) & do my weekly shopping. In the Summer it gets used to take Rowen to the beach in the evenings. In the mornings we walk. ![]() Hence the LOW milage. For the last month Mazda has been nagging me to 'renew' my lease. Offering all sorts of inducements. They finally came up with this deal. Same car, $150 a month less on the lease. Couldn't resist. I tried to see if 'Chevrolet' or 'Buick' could match that because I really would have liked to have got a 'GMC' -- given we also have a 'Equinox' (2024) & a 'Trailblazer' (2023). They couldn't come close. So, here we are. I know that I was still HAD. That is always the case. You can't win. THEY the dealership always wins. I, however, ONLY had the 'Aero Gray' Mazda CX-30 for about 90 minutes! The SAGA will be continued. 😇 |
