Our Hummingbird Feeder Was Attacked(/Destroyed) By A Black Bear Last Night.

We live on a dirt road, in the woods in central New Hampshire.

So we are NOT strangers to black bears. [I am actually quite fond of them.]

This was NOT the first time we have been 'attacked'. 

But, this was the first time it was a Hummingbird Feeder -- & the first time this 'late' (i.e., NOT early Spring). By now there should be plenty for them to eat.

Going after the SUGARY MIX in a Hummingbird Feeder makes sense. Like soda for bears. Yes, we looked it up. They do attack Hummingbird Feeders.

It appears that I might have actually been out walking, with the two dogs, when this happened! Well now I will have to keep the dogs on a leash. Black bears don't scare me. 😇

I will also have to make sure that ALL the feeders are brought in every night. 😇

Our cameras were offline last night. Well that won't happen again. 😇
