My e-Mail NIGHTMARE With 'GoDaddy' Is Over! I Switched My e-Mail To 'Bluehost'.

I am NO LONGER a SLAVE to GoDaddy's horrendous e-mail!

I should have stopped using GoDaddy for e-mail YEARS AGO.

But, the problem was that I had my custom e-mail at GoDaddy for close onto 25 years!

Yes, I have had my e-mail for close on 25 years -- all that time with GoDaddy.

It was INERTIA ....

I was AFRAID to move. I had too much invested.

I also had 11,000 e-mail on that account.

But, last FRIDAY was the LAST STRAW.

IF I wasn't going to be able to easily access my e-mail WHY bother ....

So, I decided to BITE BULLET.

Finally DUMP GoDaddy e-mail & get another service.

Opted for 'Bluehost' 'Professional e-Mail Plus'.

With the 1st year INTRODUCTORY PRICE it was going to be OVER $100 cheaper than GoDaddy.

I started the migration process. It was complicated.

I deleted 11,000 old e-mails!

I didn't bother MIGRATING.

I knew what I was doing. It was a FRESH start.

This afternoon I did the SWITCH.

Updated the DNA records at GoDaddy. Pretty impressed with myself. I also CLEANED my DNS for this domain! Wow, there was a LOT of junk.

All good. I will write about this in another post.

I am HAPPY. I am relieved.

WOW. The nightmare is over. WOW.
