Not Sure Why 'Pope Leo XIV' Thinks He Should Lecture The World On AI.

I don't like AI. I don't use AI. I TURN OFF all AI assistants. I stay clear of AI.

I do have some respect for AI. It is not for ME at this stage of my life. Maybe IF I was 20 years younger.

Yes, WAY BACK, in my late teens & 20s, in the 1970s, I did SOME initial work on AI with the technology we THEN had. Well, in those days we still did NOT have a computerized dictionary. So what we could do was limited. I was working on an algorithm to play 'Scrabble'. But there is only so much you can do IF you don't have access to a large list of words.

Well that is history.

I thought about asking AI as to why Leo XIV felt the need to interject himself into the AI 'debate'.

Doesn't he have BIGGER things to do like PRAYING for World Peace?

Or stopping sex abuse in the Church?

I THINK that he, because he is American, is getting CONFUSED.

I think that he thinks that he is Trump.

Let folks who can make a difference address how AI should be constrained.

How does he think he will get Google, Facebook, Apple or Elon Musk to take any notice of him?

What CLOUT does he have? Is he going to ask God to punish those that don't comply.

Yes, AI worries me. No question about that.

But I just don't think that the Pope needs to get involved.

We are TALKING, about INTELLIGENCE.

Well, here is a MAN who thinks he is THE EARTHLY representative of an INVISIBLE presence.

Maybe AI might be able to help HIM see some sense.
