England v India, 2nd Test 2025 (July) -- Even Better Than The Classic 1st Test?

Wow! We have been blessed. Three Test Matches in a row, all played in England, that have been classics. This is so good for cricket. Will remind some how great Tests are & will TEACH the 'youngsters' that there is more to cricket -- much, much more than T20. 

So the first of these 3 in a row was the the 'ICC World Test Championship FINAL' between South Africa v India that I raved about.

Then we had the 1st Test, i.e., Eng. v. Ind., at the end of June. I waxed lyrical about that one two. It was absorbing, technical, well-fought, & evenly balanced. It was Test cricket at its very best. I was surprised that England won, but they deserved to. I knew that India was going to do their darndest to bounce back & level the series. That they now did.

We saw some great batting & bowling from BOTH teams in the 2nd. Wow.

The IPL, though it is T20, has served India well. They play SO MUCH cricket during the IPL that it just rubs off. The IPL was a brilliant idea.

We are now set for quite the match at Lord's. The Holy of Holies. Can't wait.

I am psyched. I am not going to bother watching any other cricket till then. I am HOOKED on Tests. 

Thank YOU, India & England. This was GREAT cricket. Classic Test cricket. You did us ALL proud.
