'Hyundai' 'Tucson' Hybrid (But NOT Plug-In) Has An Integrated 12V Battery That Can Be SELF Jump-Started!

I just happened to see this today in a YouTube video.

Seemed NEAT to begin with & makes sense. Why have a separate 12V battery when you have a bigger battery to power the electric motors. This was something I have always asked about.

Appears that Hyundai has addressed this to an EXTENT but it might be problematic.

I don't use my 'hiking' SUV on a regular basis. It can sit in the garage for 10 days without getting used.

I had a trickle charge harness, as with ATVs, installed in my 'Volvo' 'XC60'. I have it plugged in when not in use.

I will have to check this out on the Hyundai.

A nice feature at first which might end up being a PROBLEM.

Damn!
