Legalizing The Trump Tariffs: Best IF Congress Passes A Bill, Rather Than Let Supreme Court Mess With THE CONSTITUTION.

I am NOT a fan of the new tariffs! I have already felt the impact. But I am also a supreme pragmatist. I appreciate that they, in one form or another, are here to stay for a long, long time.

So, we have just got to get used to living with it. A fact of life. Yes, prices will go up. Some already have.

We also know that the U.S. Supreme Court will try to do whatever to make Trump HAPPY and thus rationalize/legalize the tariffs. I think that would be a shame. Leave the CONSTITUTION as it is.

It would be much better for all IF the U.S. Congress just rushes through a BILL to make the tariffs legal.

The Republicans have the votes.

The demonstrated that with the 'BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL'.

Legalizing the tariffs should be couched as an extension/amendment to THAT BILL.

It will be much cleaner & much less controversial.

That is my take. But I am NO expert.
