'On Your Lap' (2025): Indonesian Movie On 'Netflix' -- Very Well Crafted. I Was Impressed.

I had never seen an Indonesian movie. I was curious.

Though I have spent a LOT of time in Thailand & have been to the Philippines & Hong Kong, I had never even got close to Indonesia (though my adoptive father used to visit often).

I like to try & learn about countries. And I did.

Though the story, per the title, involves lap sitting (if not dancing per se) the movie cleverly avoided any scenes involving nudity or titillation. Deftly done.

Poignant. Some reviews said it was depressing. I disagree. I think it showed a lot of human kindness & grit.

I enjoyed it. I was impressed. I gave it TWO THUMBS UP on Netflix.
