Lego TRAIN completed 10-days ago.
Click for post. < > < > < > < > I, as I had feared, am HOOKED. This is why I had stopped building Legos about 10 years ago. I LOVE Legos. But, I am hooked, & as 'addictions' go it is not too bad (though, alas, the sets I like are not exactly cheap). But, we LUCKED OUT. We already had this set (just like the Train Set that I had had for 14 years). I had got it as a Christmas present for my youngest daughter (now 18) a couple of years ago. [This Lego set was released in October 2021. So, it had to have been in the last 3 years.] I used to get her at least TWO BIG Legos each Christmas. So, she still has a BACKLOG. At least 4 big ones not built. This was one of them -- & to be fair, she is not that big on trucks. I got it because it was DETAILED. Yesterday she told me that I should built it -- that she has too many other projects. She has not been BIG into Legos, other than her 'Advent Calendars', for the last couple of years. So, I lucked out. Wow. I am excited. I was hoping to concentrate on trains, BUT I also appreciate that I ideally I should get more practice, get into the swing of things before tackling any big, complicated train sets. I know I am still rusty plus now OLD. 😇 Yes, of course, I will keep you posted. Wish me luck. Cheers. 😇 |
