They were good. They put on a fine show, finely produced. The audience loved them though there was very little dancing in the aisles or standing up to 'cheer'.

I had seen the OTHER 'Beatles' tribute band '1964' twice before. This band did a broader spectrum, i.e., 'Sargent Pepper's Band' & 'John Lennon' doing 'Imagine'. So that was good. Very well done. Sounded OK (I think). I wish they had 'George' playing the sitar. And that brings me to what you may detect as some hesitancy in my 'gushing'.

I felt, & I could be wrong, that their actual STAGE TIME was truncated!

OK, YES, I had been spoilt. This was the third tribute band I had seen, all in 'Concord', within the month. I had seen 'Zach Nugent' ('Grateful Dead') & 'Get Out The LED' ('Led Zep') not that long ago. Both those were 150 minute sets (not counting the ENCORE). The Fab Four was 90 minutes!  That is one full hour LESS. Plus The Fab Four had a LOT of fluff and filling -- a comedian impersonating 'Ed Sullivan' & quite a few videos. They should have performed a few more songs.

With the other two bands you definitely got the feeling that they just LOVED PERFORMING. They were on the stage because they just enjoyed making music & having an audience to do so.

I didn't get that vibe with The Fab Four. To them it was a JOB. And I don't blame them. I used to do a LOT of lengthy, stand up seminars. It is HARD to do the same thing day in/day out. Yes, I knew, inside of me, that I was a 'BIG MATCH' player. But, boy, did I try everyday to make sure my PAYING audience got their money's worth. So, that is a small gripe.

But they were good. I liked them. I will see them again, if I get the chance. I have told you what I though -- honestly. But, don't hold that against them. They tried. They did what they were paid to do. A job done. 😇
